This summer we had the opportunity to work with Hellcat Productions to stream the Blue Angels Airshow in Pensacola, Florida. In the process of prepping for this stream, we realized that Realms.tv has a feature no one else has, so we wanted to brag a bit! Not only can you multistream out to other platforms like YouTube or Facebook from Realms.tv, but you can also control audio, video quality, and have a backup stream available to make sure there isn’t any downtime in your stream that could risk ending your stream prematurely on external platforms.
In previous years, Hellcat Productions had experienced issues with copyright claims due to music being played at events outside of their control. To avoid this issue, we determined the best option would be to stream a muted version of the stream to Facebook and direct viewers go to Realms.tv for the full viewing experience.
How it works (the technical side):
During the event, Hellcat Productions only responsibility was setting up their scenes in OBS and clicking go live when they were ready. Behind the scenes, we supported them by running the stream through an RTMP server which then sent multiple copies of the stream out (some muted, some not) to the designated destinations.

Getting ready for the event
To prep for the event we worked closely with the Hellcat Productions team by running through practice streams, helping them set up their OBS scenes and sources, and being on hand for any questions along the way.
The day of the event, we remained on hand moderating chat and monitoring the stream performance to ensure everything ran smoothly.

TL;DR
Hellcat Productions came to us wanting to stream to YouTube and Facebook while also having a premium experience on Realms.tv. We helped with planning and setup and were closely working with the Hellcat team during the event to make it a success and we hope to join them again for the air show next year.
